Чайный гриб (aka Kombucha)
Штаммы микроорганизмов, составляющие «тело гриба», могут варьироваться в зависимости от места происхождения. Гриб представляет собой толстую слоистую слизистую плёнку, плавающую на поверхности жидкой питательной среды (сладкого чая, сока); состоит из культуры находящихся в симбиотических отношениях микроорганизмов: дрожжеподобных грибов (Saccharomyces ludwigii, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Brettanomyces bruxellensis, Candida stellata, Schizosaccharomyces pombe, Torulaspora delbrueckii, Zygosaccharomyces bailii и других) и бактерий (Acetobacter xylinum или другие виды рода Acetobacter).

Bread Drink (Квас / Kvass)
The drink contains live cultures (Lactobacillus reuteri), grain lactic acid, trace elements, minerals and vitamins (though not in noteworthy amounts).

Water kefir
Water kefir is found around the world, with no two cultures being exactly the same. Typical tibicos have a mix of Lactobacillus, Streptococcus, Pediococcus and Leuconostoc bacteria with yeasts from Saccharomyces, Candida, Kloeckera and possibly others.

Vitamin B12
Neither plants nor animals are independently capable of constructing vitamin B12.
Only bacteria and archaea have the enzymes required for its biosynthesis.
The total synthesis of B12 was reported by Robert Burns Woodward and Albert Eschenmoser in 1972, and remains one of the classic feats of organic synthesis. Species from the following genera are known to synthesize B12: Acetobacterium, Aerobacter, Agrobacterium, Alcaligenes, Azotobacter, Bacillus, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, Flavobacterium, Lactobacillus, Micromonospora, Mycobacterium, Nocardia, Propionibacterium, Protaminobacter, Proteus, Pseudomonas, Rhizobium, Salmonella, Serratia, Streptomyces, Streptococcus and Xanthomonas.
