Гы, переводчик млин :) Подол это, в любом виде.. В географическом или одёжном :) Правда по русски больше говорят подолье (если географический вариант брать...), да ведь?
А в городе этом, как мама моя говорит, наверное :) Насчёт конкретно тут я не знала даже..

ну подол это одно из значений) а еще нашла "опушка, окраина (леса)", что более правдоподобно в этом случае)

Но к нашему опзому не подходят другие :P Потому что ни опушек тут ни окраин :) А только вот эта чудесная канава, которую можно окрестить zoom :P
